L – The Darshani Gate, main entrance to the Qila Mubarak. The first settlers of Patiala were the Hindus of Sirhind, who opened their business establishments outside the Darshani Gate.
R – Entrance to Darbar Hall, it has now been converted into a mini museum, which contains rare arms and armours, including the sword and dagger of Guru Gobind Singh and the sword of Nadir Shah, called ‘Shikar Gah’, who invaded India in 1739. This site is under restoration.
