The perforated screens or jalis are decorated with different geometric designs. Such screens were used so that the light that entered the complex would be subdued. Similar screens were installed inside the main building as well.

A striking combination of stones, particularly around the jali windows. It makes us wonder as to the purpose of this combination. Is it purely ornamental? Are the stones of varying hardness?
